i'm working on some patches
i started to color in a checkered sketch i did a while ago. (not for class)
i continued, and deepened the lines for my scream bowl, and i put clear glaze on my in utero tray
I started my master artist piece, i want to do a scream, bowl/cup
i finished putting on the underglaze for this piece, which i was not expecting, so that is exciting. i have a plan for what i want to do next
the bee bowl i did and my in utero tray, so i sanded it down a bit. next class i want to finish my monster sculpture so i can fire it, and then i want to start painting the tray if i have enough time
i finished, and sewed on the wolf patch i was making. i think it turned out really well, i used a different type of fabric paint and it was pretty good. (absent)
i worked on the monster for the other second graders, i'm hoping to get the sculpting done next class
this was the last class i'm spending sculpting this piece. i put it on the shelf for the kiln and when it comes out i'm going to put underglaze on it
i'm working on a new patch for my tote bag, itis another tyler, the creater patch, it's in it's very early stages, but i'm excited to finidh it (absent)
i cleaned up the left wing and the intesines. i also tried to clean up the sides more but i think i just made them more difficult to work with in the future. i really want to move on to other projects, and not spend very much more time on this but i want this piece to turn out well
i added more definition to the muscles, i also cleaned up the tray itself a bit. i also started a new piece, a slab built mug, but i decided to scrap it because i was having a hard time working with the clay, and i would rather work on it for a whole class period
i've been working on this project for a while, i specifically just added the goblin patch, everything is had painted and i still plan on adding more (absent)
i added the intestines and did general clean up on the piece
i smoothed all of the body parts together, and then i started to add the details of the wings, and the body
i decided that i wanted to put the angel from the cover of nirvana's in utero album on the tray i made last class, this class, i just made the proportions of clay then scored and slipped them onto the tray
im making a tray, next time i want to refine the edges a bit more, and then i'll leave it to dry for a bit so i can do underglaze
i want to make a trippy checkerboard piece with marker, this is the very begining of the sketch (absent)
i decided to sketch a sculpture that i saw on pintrest (absent)
I put a clear glaze over my hammer and sickle tray because it came out of the kiln, and i finished the underglaze on my bee bowl, and now they are both ready to fire
i sanded down the inside a bit more, and then i started to paint the bee, i wanted to paint more but ran out of time
